The last two video episodes of The Road to Moab is finally complete and up on the Riding the Edge web site. I had a great time riding my motorcycle to Utah and back to Oregon with best buds Ed, Steve and Rick on our little 3000 mile adventure. Hum... where to go next year? Cool

Well done David, This video makes me want to head back out west and see many of the places we missed. I see that you picked up a Tour master jacket liner, they sure are a nice addition when the temps drop. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Eric, that Tour Master electric liner has been a great addition to my riding kit. It has extended my riding season quite a bit. The electric pants and gloves would be next but I don't think my bike could handle the draw of power and I am not sure I would know what to do if some body parts were not numb once and awhile. Grin

Well since we did the good how about the top 5 bad motorcycle sensations. Yes with the good there is always the bad, that is just how it works. How would we know the good if there was no bad... Grin

1) Falling, coming off, crashing - no matter how you say it, it just sucks and I am sad to say I have had my share of them.
2)Monkey butte - If you have a torture rack of a seat as I do then you know what I mean.

3)Smell - This one made my top 5 favorite and on the flip side a skunk or dead animal just seem a lot worse on a bike.
4)Pain in the wallet - For the 350 + dollars I shell out a year for tires.

5) Panic - When a bee gets caught inside my helmet i find it a little hard to keep my composure.

Enough of the negative vibes. The good sensations far out weigh the bad so I think I will keep my bike.  Grin

How about yours?

I had to think about this one,

1. Freedom, the feeling that you can go anywhere, anytime.

2. Solitude, I have found over the years that I dont mind my own company.

3. Acceleration,  I ride an FJ1200 0-60 in 2 seconds 60-100 in 3 seconds.

4. Sight, when riding a bike you always see more detail to the world.

5. Accomplishment, when I return from a long road trip I always feel as if I have become a smarter, happier more complete person in some way. I like the feeling of being prepared for most of what the world can throw at you on the road.

Great list Eric, I like number 5 a lot.
